We do
praise, bless and magnify your Holy Name.
We
rejoice, that you have created humankind for fellowship with You and that You
sent Your Son (Yeshua HaMashiach) to die (Isaiah Chpt. 53) in order that that fractured fellowship might be restored.
We rejoice,
that no longer are we held hostage to fear of death. Indeed, the Apostle Paul was so confident in
this issue he declared triumphantly, “O
death, where is your sting? O grave,
where is your victory?” (I Corinthians 15:55). Sin, hell, death and the grave have all been
swallowed up at the Cross.
We rejoice,
that as we come nearer the end of the age, where sin may seem to abound, Your grace is greater still. Thus
we do not view death as an escape from difficulty, but as a coronation for a
victorious life.
We
rejoice, that though we are mystified why some persons must spend their last years
languishing, the triumph is Yours and that You make all things work
together for good to those who love You and are called according to your purpose (Romans 8:28).
We
rejoice, that “The judgments of the Lord
are true and righteous altogether” (Psalm 19:9).
We
rejoice, that You are bringing history’s present era to a conclusion, as
witnessed by the continued struggles and prominence of the nation of Israel and
that so many Jews are accepting Jesus as their Messiah throughout the world.
We
rejoice, that You have a plan for the earth which will culminate with the
soon-coming of (Yeshua HaMashiach) Jesus Christ as Lord and King over all the earth.
We
rejoice, that You take great delight in our praise, especially when it’s
difficult to offer.
We
rejoice, that heaven’s highest courts are taken up with Your praise.
We
rejoice, that as our lives are filled with more and more rejoicing, they are
filled with more and more of You.
Finally,
we rejoice, that all our rejoicing is in You.
In Jesus' blessed Name we pray and rejoice, Amen.
